Why Central Baptist Church is Little Rock’s “Different” Church
1. Because it is not tied to any denominational machine. The Central Baptist Church is a Baptist Church in doctrine, polity and organization, and is absolutely independent of man-made organizations but wholly dependent upon the Lord.
2. Because the Central Baptist Church uses the Bible in every department of its church work.
3. Because its mission activities are direct rather than through a board. We carry on mission work at home and abroad.
4. Because of the emphasis the Central Baptist Church lays upon the fundamentals of the faith. We hold to the historic Baptist position concerning the church, its ordinances and its doctrines.
5. Because of the emphasis the Central Baptist Church places upon regeneration rather than church membership. We insist upon a credible evidence of regeneration before baptism and church membership.
6. Because the Central Baptist Church believes that a New Testament Church is a local, independent, self-governing, democratic body, subject to the Lord Jesus Christ as its only head. We believe that His will is made known unto man through the Word of God as revealed by the Holy Spirit.
