The epistles of Peter were written to encourage believers living under difficult circumstances. Peter understood the threat of fear and the pain of failure. He could relate to temptations, trials, and troubles that arise from serving the Lord. Under the guidance of the Spirit, the Apostle Peter penned two letters to strengthen Christians in difficult times.
